Abstract
The community-engaged research model emphasizes meaningful research with applicable results. Yet this model often challenges current research methods. The office of Community Engaged Research and the Center for Clinical and Translational Research annually offer the VCU Community Engaged Research Institute to familiarize researchers with the model and its benefits. This video highlights insights from 2014's Institute.
