Abstract
In an increasingly inter-connected world, higher education institutions continue to lag behind in their ability to break down silos — and VCU is no exception. This project seeks to improve upon the existing, centralized myVCU tool to address lack of connection to staff resources. We propose a redesign of myVCU based on research and feedback from VCU staff, tailoring the platform to streamline navigation and empower a united staff workforce. A key component will be a communications campaign to support staff buy-in. The ultimate goal is to transform myVCU into a critical tool that empowers and UNlocks the potential of our VCU staff workforce.
