Description
Typewritten letter from a member of the Sonic Arts Group (also known as the Sonic Arts Union) to Jon Bowie, dated March 22, 1967. The letter describes the Sonic Arts Group's upcoming performance at the Spring Arts Festival, contains a list of equipment for the performance, and includes biographies for the members of the group: David Behrman, Robert Ashley, Gordon Mumma, and Alvin Lucier. Drawn on the back of the first page (page 2 of the PDF) is an unidentified diagram. Handwritten at the top of the second page of the letter (page 3 of the PDF): "Return to Bowie," and other marginalia on the page indicates which equipment RPI needs to acquire and which they already have.
