Abstract
A collection of eight short stories and six personal essays. The short stories blend fabulism and realism with realistic characters whose emotion is too large for the mimetic world to contain, using mythology as well as science fiction. The essays were written during the coronavirus pandemic, exploring themes of community and belonging amidst national crisis.
