Abstract
This thesis explores how various factors can affect how something is viewed and appreciated. It specifically relates to James and the Giant Peach the musical as it is as a halted production for the VCU theatre due to COVID-19. This document encompasses facts about Roald Dahl’s life, details about my designs for the production, as well as how a global pandemic affected the life of theatre. Included in this document are research and renderings.
