Abstract
In this thesis project, we examined the hypothesis that lonidamine is an effective inhibitor of FAO in mammalian cells, underling its inhibitory effects on bioenergetic production and anti-cancer action. We compared its effects on FAO and glycolysis in multiple human cancer cell lines of different lineages.
