Description

A photographic print of 9 young individuals gathered decorating a Christmas tree in a hall, with some standing on chairs. A tenth individual looks on from across the room, and long table are visible in the midground. Most wear Girl Scout uniforms, and all appear to be white. "Photographs, circa 1940s: Sharon Goldstein's collection of scout photographs (sent to Dorothy Armstrong); primarily consisting of christmas celebrations, undated, circa 1948 (based on uniforms)." written on item folder. Handwritten on standard letter mailer envelope: "JPP Sent 8/7/81, Dear Dorothy, The three dollars are enclosed. And here are the girl scout pictures. Hope they're a real "Blast from the Past"! Thanks for being so patient, sorry for the delay. Sharon (Address. 2022 Monument Ave. Richmond 23220."
