This is a pair of very fine Italianate houses with fine cornices, segmental arched windows and cast iron railings. In 1884, 515 was the home of John Mitchell, owner and editor of the Richmond Planet, the leader of the Mechanic's Bank and the order of the Knights of Pythias.
