This small Greek Revival house has been altered on several occasions. An Italianate cornice was added and later the house was converted into a store. The second story windows were unaltered however and the hardware for shutters remains.

The 500 Block of West Marshall Street - This block contains a number of interesting pre-Civil War houses as well as some Italianate dwellings. The small size of most of these houses contributes to the street's character and charm.
