Mount Edith Cavell The dominating peak of the Athabasca Valley, Jasper National Park. Named to honor the heroine nurse of World War 1, Cavell's snowclad summit was a famous landmark during exploration days of the Canadian Rockies, and of the overland route to the Pacific Ocean.
