Description
Jason Tejeda Molina interviews Paloma Rodriguez Saucedo in Richmond, Virginia, on February 29, 2024. In the interview, Rodriguez Saucedo shares her experiences with her early years in life moving back and forth between Mexico and the United States of America. Paloma also shares about the Latino community in which she grew up in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and how close-knit the community is. In this interview, Rodriguez Saucedo also reflects the complexities of growing up between two cultures and the challenges of being the child of immigrants in the U.S. and having to navigate the schooling system and racial and cultural biases.
