Physical Details

Retinoscope with a separate magnifying lens, all in a wooden case with a leather covering. Scope comes in two parts. An ebony handle screws into a round brass ring, which holds a round mirror on one side and a black metal disc on the other. The mirror and disc both have a small opening in the center for a single opening through the middle of the mirror/disc interface. The magnifying lens is a small round lens with a round, fenestrated handle. Wooden case has significant damage to leather covering, which has the appearance of insect damage.
