Physical Details
Glass prescription vial with stainless steel slip cap. Taller than wide, round, and made of lightweight glass. The vial has a cap which is designed to slip on and off of the top with the finger, patented 1929 (US Pat #1720835) Outside of bottle has a sticker label with hand-printed description: "Tablets Ergothate 1/320 grain #1572 Lilly." Bottom of bottle has a small wad of cotton and a small round pill on the top. Sized to fit in a leather loop at the top of a medicine kit (1985.19.11a).
