    Physical Details

Plastic doll wearing a facsimile of the uniform for the Virginia Hospital School of Nursing. Shoes are black, and legs are covered with a short length of black hose, as would be customary for a nursing student. Skirt is very long, almost floor length, and is light pink with broadly spaced, thin white stripes, a pattern which is repeated on the blouse. Apron is long, with a rear button closure and two straps of cloth connecting the front to the opposite edge. Blouse has a moderate sized, starched white collar, and separatable cuffs covering the arm from the elbow to the wrist. Doll's hair is piled on top of the head and pinned back. Doll's cap has a broad brim, with crushed, lacey-patterned fabric sewn in circular configurations around the upper and lower edge.
