Physical Details

Body of a Cine-Kodak Model A camera. The camera is a rectangular box, with stainless steel joins and black metal case. Body has a fixed lens and a turn crank capable of 2 revolutions per second. Front of camera has the lens and the light opening. The lens is a Kodak Anastigmat 1:3, 3-25mm. Camera has two viewfinders, one on top and one at the rear end, user-selectable by a dial above the crank; a dial which registers the amount of film remaining to be written to (up to 100 feet); and an additional ancillary distance meter. Used by Dr. Osterud and others to produce training films in anatomy in the 1920s and 1930s to produce training films in Anatomy. Was in use up to 1947.
