Physical Details
Stainless steel bayonet-type Lucae's ear dressing forceps with serrated teeth and a tweezer-like action. Composed of two pieces of steel which are fused at the head such that they rest at an angle to each other, with finger grips toward the proximal end of the instrument. A small pin protrudes from one blade of the forceps and matches a hole on the opposite blade. The distal end of the blades is curved out and then straight from the proximal end so the surgeon's view of the area in which he is working is not obstructed by his hand. Serrated teeth extend to the end of the forceps blades.
