Abstract
Zhang et al. developed a potential therapeutic drug that selectively binds to the IF site of Complex I, revealing the role of ZCM-I-1 as a potential regulator of ROS species within the mitochondria at moderate concentrations. More importantly, the development of this drug has been used to justify the mitochondria dysfunction hypothesis of Alzheimer's Disease. However, the key mechanism for Alzheimers remains unclear.
