Description

Prince Edward Head Start building on U.S. route 460, near Prospect in Prince Edward County, Va. In 1959 it was the First Rock Elementary School for African Americans. "Temporary" building covered with roofing paper and an outdoor privy which were seen in 1961-1962 are now gone.
