Card Text (transcribed from postcard)
Broad Street is true to its name, being nearly twice as wide as any other street in Richmond. It extends in a straight line the full length of the City, and is equally broad at all points. At night it is brilliantly illuminated, and its 'Great White Way,' lined with handsome stores and shops, with their attractive displays, presents a scene of alluring beauty, and makes it a favorite promenade. This view (looking East from 6th street) shows a portion of the busy shopping and hotel district, on the right, and the famous 'movie' district, on the left.
