Located at Seventh and Grace Streets this new home of the Young Men's Christian Association is without a doubt one of the finest and most complete Association Buildings in the country. Cost when fully completed and equipped about $300,000, of which this amount over $200,000 was subscribed by citizens of Richmond in an enthusiastic Campaign limited to 15 days, thus establishing a world's record. Has 93 sleeping apartments with hot and cold water in each, as well as billiard and pool rooms, bowling alleys, natatorium, gymnasium, barber shop, lunch room, etc.
