This is where Ellis Hall was a prisoner since the Civil War. Was taken at Mechanicsville. This was the old tobacco warehouse- but turned into a prison time of War. Just on the point of starvation he was exchanged-they would do meal service. They could have only one (illegible) cell at one time. Took all day to walk [illegible]
