Card Text (transcribed from postcard)

On the left is shown the mausoleum of the late Major Lewis Ginter, during his life one of the most prominent citizens of Richmond. The view from this point is unsurpassed. 'The landscape embraces every variety - forest and placid stream; hills crowned with woods, or with steeples; shaded valleys, and blazing furnaces; bridges on which railway trains are moving sixty feet in the air; and almost at your feet, the graceful curve of a broad canal.'
