Richmond College, the oldest and best equipped college in Richmond, is situated at the western end of the city, within a stone's throw at Lee Circle. The college was established in 1840, and is Baptist in government; it is comprised of eight academies and schools, and has about 250 students in attendance, the property is valued at about $350,000.
