Situated in the heart of the residential district in Laurel Street overlooking Monroe Park this magnificent Cathedral, erected at a cost of over $300,000 is the gift of Thomas F. Ryan. Consecrated in 1906. Connected with it in the rear is the Episcopal residence of the Bishop of the Diocese of Virginia.
