Card Text (transcribed from postcard)

Situated in a beautifully shaded park is the classically designed Va. State Capitol Building, containing many of the principal executive offices of the State, including that of the Governor. In the rear of the Capitol as shown in this view, is the imposing City Hall Bldg., with its lofty clock-tower. To the left of the City Hall is shown a partial view of the home office of the Life Insurance Co. of Va., and still more to the left appears the ten-story 'Richmond Hotel' with accommodations for 1000 guests. Just in front of the hotel may be seen the cupola of the celebrated St. Paul's Church.
