Card Text (transcribed from postcard)
Libby Hill Park, (29th & Main Sts., Richmond, Va.) Though limited in area this beautiful park, by reason of the command and position it occupies on one of the seven hills from which Richmond (like ancient Rome) is built-is a great favorite with all visitors. From its summit may be obtained a magnificent panoramic view of the city and surrounding country, while at its foot, sweeping South and West in a wide and graceful 'bend,' flows the historic James river. The imposing 'Soldiers' and Sailors' monument standing in this park was unveiled May 30th, 1894.
