The New Central Y.M.C.A. Building, in beauty of its architectural features and completeness of its equipment, is without doubt one of the finest Association buildings in the U.S. Cost, fully completed and equipped, about $300,000 of this amount over $200,000 was subscribed by the citizens of Richmond in an enthusiastic campaign limited to 15 days, thus establishing a 'world's record.' Contains 93 sleeping apartments, with hot and cold water in each; also bowling alleys, billiard and pool rooms, natatorium 20x60; gymnasium 48x98; barber-shop; lunch-room, etc.
