Card Text (transcribed from postcard)

The Jefferson Hotel, erected at a cost of nearly $2,000,000, was first opened to the public in 1895. It is not surpassed in beauty or completeness by any other hotel in the country and its guests are accorded all that is embroiled in a traditional Southern welcome.
