Transcription
Dec. 6th, ‘94 James W. Allison Esq. Richmond, Dear Sir, We are waiting to hear from you in regard to The Dining Rm. finish in your house. It will be necessary for Purdy’s man to go down and measure that room, as well as the openings for fire places and doorway returns Music Room and reception room. None of the work which he will do can be started until then, hence it is most important to have this question settled at once. So much time will be consumed in getting out this finish, that we fear you will be disappointed at the probable date of the completion of the building. Yours Truly Griffin Randall P.S Please return the tracing-paper sketches of revised dining Rm. panelling. [Edited by CB & IR & MTK]
