Transcription

The Faculty of the Medical College of Virginia Gentlemen Not being able to make such arrange- ments as would enable me to discharge satisfactorily the duties of Demonstrator of Anatomy of the Medical College of Va, I am compelled to resign that position with which you have honoured me. Permit me at the same time to tender you my sincere thanks for the kindness and consideration uniformly extended to me while in your employ. Very Respectfully Yr ob. Servt M[arion] Howard
