Inventory of the effects of Alexander McFarland, Decd: late of Company A 5th Regt Ala Vols who died at the Medical College Hospital Richmond Va April 27th 1862 Bundle containing 2 Blankets, 1 pr suspenders, 1 cap, 1 pr pants, 1 shirt, 1 pr boots, carpet Bag. 1 pocket Knife, 2 pr socks, looking glass, buttons & kneedles, bag red pepper & letter paper, 3 ten cent stamps & twenty two dollars and fifty cents in paper money.
