The Annual Security Conference has provided a forum to discuss issues and concerns related to information security. The conference was established in 2001 and has been ongoing since with support of the Information Institute, Virginia Commonwealth University, USA and University of Lisbon, Portugal. The conference encourages discourse and a free exchange of ideas. Over the years scholars from all over the world have participated and have engaged in fruitful discussions. The Conference emphasizes both organizational and technical aspects of information protection.
