Fitchburg. A town Feb. 3. 1760. A city Mar. 8. 1872.; Court House. This stone building, on Elm Street, directly behind the Soldier's and Sailors' Monument, was built in 1871. It is of fine proportions and is the seat of Worcester county offices. Criminal and civil sittings of Superior Court and weekly sittings of Probate Court are held here.
