The New Court House, New York City. The new proposed court house, to be erected at Worth, Lafayette and Centre Streets will occupy four city blocks. The plans and drawings have been made by Guy Lowell, architect. It will occupy 120,000 square feet of ground in a circular building, diameter 500 feet with a facade 200 feet high, four porticos of massive pillars around it about two-thirds of the way. Cost of building $10,000,000, cost of the site $6,000,000.

The proposed courthouse pictured was not constructed. The design was modified to a hexagonal form and was erected in 1919.
