City Hall (10th and Broad Sts.), Richmond, Va. This imposing building, constructed of Virginia granite, was completed in 1894, at a cost of over $1,500,00 [sic]. Here are the offices of the chiefs of city departments, as well as various municipal courts. From the balcony at the top of the clock tower, 180 feet high, one more unfortunate weary of life some years ago leaped to his death being impaled upon the railings below.
