Bartow County Court House and Confederate Monument, Cartersville, Ga. A few miles north of Cartersville resides Mrs. Corra Harris, one of the most famous American writers, in Cartersville resides Mrs. William H. Felton, the only woman who ever served in the United States Senate. Cartersville was the home of the late Sam P. Jones, world-famous evangelist, Bill Arp, the noted southern philosopher, and other famous southerners.
