Abstract
With regard to Boomers, elders, and all of us growing older, we have been sold a bill of goods in America. Rather than independence, assisted autonomy is a means to empowerment and inclusion. Additionally, as we grow older, we grow less like our age mates, and dissimilarity and heterogeneity increases.
