Course Description: Students will evaluate bicycling conditions in Richmond and propose opportunities to make the city more bicycle friendly through improved urban design and public infrastructure (e.g., bike lanes, bridges).

In the mapping exercise, students traveled around Richmond and identified locations that they considered to be either safe or unsafe for bicycling, or to have adequate or inadequate bicycle parking facilities. The mapping results demonstrate some interesting patterns.
