Description

A photographic print of approximately two dozen individuals in a classroom, likely in an elementary school. The teacher, on the left side of the photograph, wears a suit and speaks to the students using a hand puppet of a monkey. The students stand and sit in a crowd in front of the teacher and look on. All individuals appear to be white. "Layton's Studio 819 E. Broad St. RIchmond, VA." stamped on backside in purple. "Girl Scouts of Richmond 101 N. Jefferson St. Richmond, Va." stamped on backside. "1-20-1938" handwritten on backside in pencil.
