Physical Details
Steel tongue depressor meant to be held by the patient during an examination. The handle has grooves and a thumb indentation for grip. The depressor arm extends roughly horizontally from the handle, and has a wedge-shaped fenestration at the tip. The bottom of the tip has ridges to help retard movement of the tongue.
