The aim of the VCU McNair Scholars Research Journal is to promote undergraduate research by sharing the scientific works of members of the Virginia Commonwealth University McNair Scholars Program, and participating TRIO programs, with the institutional community, as well as the broader McNair community and the wider readership in general. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, each issue features the work of an outstanding scholar selected for its exceptional contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge in a particular field.
