Description
This course outline highlights the first offering of SPTL 632: Sport Business in which all required materials were provided at no cost to students. The course relied on an open textbook, openly available articles, and case studies accessible through VCU Libraries, eliminating the need for a traditional textbook.
The move to a zero-textbook-cost approach for SPTL 632 was made possible through the 2017 Affordable Course Content Awards program.
