Card Text (transcribed from postcard)

This building, erected in 1785, and owned and occupied by Richmond Randolph Lodge No. 19, A.F. & A.M. is the first edifice ever built in the U.S. exclusively for Masonic purposes. The records of this Lodge show that John Marshall, Gen'l Lafayette together, with many other statesmen, soldiers and citizens, of international renown have attended to its 'stated communications.'
