This Christian institution of learning, chartered in 1896, is under control of the American Baptist Home Mission Society. Its object is the Moral and intellectual uplift of Afro-Americans. Its handsome buildings of Virginia Granite are surrounded by well kept ample grounds. Located near Brook Turnpike, just north of the City.
