Card Text (transcribed from postcard)

Carry me back to old Virginia. Poe Shrine, at Richmond, Virginia. Erected about 1686, the building is probably the oldest in Richmond. Although it has no direct association with Edgar Allan Poe, the great Southern poet and writer, it is now a repository for some of Poe's important papers and other possessions.
