JQTSIE is a fee-free Open Access peer-reviewed journal that publishes empirical, conceptual, and theoretical work in the areas of queer and trans studies in education. It is published by VCU Libraries, with support from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Education. The journal’s aims and scopes include intentional centering of intersectional and global scholarship, alongside considerations of queer and trans futures and futurity—within and beyond current violent policy landscapes.
